Aesop Nolita

On 7 September 2011, Aesop opened our first standalone store in New York. Our pint-sized Nolita store is designed by New York architect Jeremy Barbour, who also created Aesop's Grand Central Terminal kiosk.

Aesop Nolita further explores the construction possibilities of newspaper by using reclaimed copies of the New York Times as a building material, an extension of a design response that acknowledges our respect for the written word and the history of each city with which we engage. On the walls of the store we will pay homage to our love of cinema by screening Criterion films.

Aesop began in Melbourne in 1987. With the opening of Nolita, we have forty-one stores internationally, in addition to offering our skin, hair and body products through select department stores such as Barneys.
